Our Mission:

Apprenticeship to Jesus (A2J) is a fellowship of intentionally diverse Christians, who are called to a Way of life with Jesus, as his friends and partners in mission; called to love and serve the Church and further God’s kingdom.  We are passionate about raising up next generation leaders by walking with them and giving them opportunities to discover and develop their gifting and passions.

​We are united by a Rule of Life, which expresses our values and how we pursue a life of prayer, study and mission together.

Living a way of discipleship that is interwoven into our every day lives that nurtures a deepening friendship with Jesus and a passion to partner with him. 
Mission thrives when it is expressed
relationally and naturally where we are. We believe the world needs small, humble, and faithful Jesus' communities growing in love for God and our neighbor.

reconciliation and unity in the body of 
Christ, knowing this is at the core
of Jesus’ heart and will release God’s 
blessing and healing to the world.

How to Connect
  1. Join an existing Apprenticeship to Jesus (A2J) community group or start a new one. 
  2. Each A2J community group prayerfully discerns their specific Rule of Life.
  3. The Rule of Life expresses how they live out their discipleship journey of prayer, study, & mission together.
  4. Each A2J group will share a common study curriculum and a shared summer project together.
  5. Each A2J community group will look for ways of connecting with the other groups through sharing prayer requests and what we are learning through the WhatsApp A2J thread and Zoom/online calls.
  6. Make every effort to participate in the summer project.

​A Rule of Life is a helpful tool to organize your life in order to live intentionally
in your apprenticeship to Jesus.

Sample Community Rule of Life (Phoenix Group)
  • Weekly meal with time for prayer & study together
  • Monthly service project 
  • Monthly worship together at different churches that represents the church                                                    in its beauty and diversity and also refugee/immigrant churches
